Good location but traffic area.
Good location, near beach, shopping and easy to find restaurant. The bed comfy. But this area is always traffic.
the price for deluxe balcony room i think it's a little bit pricey. And lift to small. Only for 2 persons.

You get what you pay for
The price was great if you're looking for a one night stay, or somewhere very cheap and not planning to spend any time there. The location was good, surrounded by markets and some cafes etc, then only a short walk to the beach. The staff seemed very friendly.
The hotel is very tired and in need of some TLC. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, there were receipts on the floor from the last guest. The floors were dirty. The top duvet sheets had stains on them. The shower had a cockroach in it. The front of the hotel has little to no street appeal. The photos aren't an accurate representation of the current state of the hotel. But at $17 AUD per night, and considering the hotel would have likely been closed for the better part of 2 years, I wasn't expecting much.
